About the Event

This is a quest about kindness. Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate towards oneself and other people. Being kind often requires courage and strength. Kindness is an interpersonal skill. Science has now shown that devoting resources to others, rather than having more and more for yourself, brings about lasting well-being. In such challenging times, we know how important it is to remember to be grateful and kind. The ones who are often the most generous in these areas are children, and so we are offering this 7 day program to inspire and encourage our young people to take action and spread their kindness far and wide, starting first with themselves.

Main Takeaways for Participants:

Participants will walk away from this quest feeling energised and believing they can make a difference in the world. Not only will they learn and practise many wonderful self - care practises/rituals, they will be encouraged to incorporate these into their daily lives. As this is being offered as a global quest, we hope that participants will make new friends from around the world. Finding one’s own unique creativity and powerful voice to share positive messages is another piece in this project, as is discovering the power of technology and working together towards a common goal. The practise of self-reflection and learning that it is okay to make and own your mistakes is another valuable component, alongside developing empathy towards oneself and others. Mostly though, this quest is about enjoying life, even through the challenges we are faced with, having fun with each other and learning to become more emotionally aware and intelligent humans.
